Professional Installation / Upgrade Terms

When a professional installation or upgrade is purchased, there are details that we request in order to perform the task. Below you will find explination of some of the items that we request when you purchase a professional installation or upgrade.

FTP Information:

We will need your FTP login details in order to transfer the files onto your server. Directory can be left blank if you do not know it but it is the path you would like us to upload the files to once we are in your FTP's default directory. This is usually something like public_html/appdir/ where appdir is the name of the software we are installing. Host, Username & Password you can usually get from your hosting company. If you cannot provide these details, make sure you fill in all of the control panel information.

MySQL Information:

MySQL information is needed to connect the software to the database on your server. Host (usually 'localhost'), Username & Password can usually be found within your control panel or retrieved from your hosting company. If you cannot provide these details, make sure you fill in all of the control panel information.

CP (Control Panel) Information:

Control panel information is the login details that you use to access your hosting companies control panel. These details are especially important when you cannot provide the FTP and MySQL details needed above. You can get these details from your hosting company.

Install Domain:

The install domain is the URL that we use to install the software. This is normally your domain name associated with your hosting account. Since licenses are tied to domains, we need the domain to be pointing to your hosting account and the domain working properly before we can complete the installation.

If you should have any further questions, please bring them up in the ticket for your professional installation or upgrade.
